To further advance its commitment to environmental responsibility, CE Broker is pleased to announce its intent to become certified through Climate Neutral, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and certifying body that works with organizations to eliminate greenhouse gas emissions.

CE Broker has consistently invested in sustainability and environmental stewardship and rightsized its commitments in line with its growth. This partnership with Climate Neutral further cements CE Broker as a leader in sustainability in its space, applying a new layer of accountability in its commitment to offset all carbon emissions that are a result of doing business.

In its certification process with Climate Neutral, CE Broker will undergo rigorous auditing. This includes taking measurements of its greenhouse gas emissions – direct, indirect, and supply chains. CE Broker must prove that it has procured sufficient carbon offset credits equivalent to its emissions. And lastly as part of its commitment, CE Broker will develop a Reduction Action Plan to reduce its internal emissions.

“Our ‘think green’ value has always been fundamental to how we operate,” says says Brian Solano, CE Broker Chief Executive Officer. “Even in the beginning as we were in startup mode, we made it a priority. We vetted our vendors’ sustainability practices. We donated to trusted nonprofits. We organized community impact projects, like beach cleanups and tree plantings. As we continue to grow, it’s an opportunity to think differently about how we commit ourselves to our values. Accountability through Climate Neutral elevates our approach to sustainability and sets us up for continued leadership in environmental stewardship in our space.”

CE Broker will begin adhering to Climate Neutral’s standards in FY’23 in order to achieve certification.
