I received a complaint from a registered nurse this morning about CE Broker email communications. She said the Opt Out feature was not working and was upset that she had received email messages after unsubscribing.

If the Opt Out page on our email campaigns did not work, please know that it was a technical error, not a marketing ploy, and I apologize for any inconvenience caused by our emails.

CE Broker was designed to help FL’s healthcare professionals, and many do not understand what we do, so we regularly send email communications to Florida licensees.  There is a lot to learn about continuing education, and we aim for a healthy blend of informational and promotional material in our marketing campaigns.

Some emails announce new free services like the CE Broker Course Search, iPhone app, or free accounts.  Some emails aim to inform and educate.  Others describe our paid services.  We also send email reminders to our users, notifying them of upcoming expiration dates and newly reported courses to their records.  All of these messages include the Opt Out feature, and if it is not working for you, please call us at 1-877-434-6323 and let us know.

How to opt-out?

At the bottom of each email is a link to unsubscribe:

Again, I apologize to the anonymous nurse and know that we are looking into this issue to make sure the Opt-Out link works properly in the future.

Sincerely,

Evan Kell
