May 31st is quickly approaching, which means Florida Psychologist’s and Limited License Psychologist’s license renewal deadline is within reach. CE Broker wants to give you a quick visual of your CE requirements so you don’t have any surprises when renewing your license. The following chart contains all of the 40 total hours required for Florida Psychologists come time for license renewal.

If you are a Florida Psychologists renewing your license for the first time:

Psychologists and Limited License Psychologists initially licensed within the biennium are exempt from continuing education with the exception of the 2-hour course relating to the prevention of Medical Error
Keep in mind that as a Florida Psychologist, you can get 4 credits each biennium for simply attending a state, regional, or national Psychology Convention or Conference. This is in addition to the actual CE hours being offered at the conference. It is reported using the option titled Attendance at a State, Regional, or National Psychology Convention or Conference.
