Nursing Home Administrator License Renewal Requirements
Is There Anything Particularly Important I Should Know?
As a Nursing Home Administrator, at least 20 hours must be completed in person at a live presentation.
Medical Errors courses must be Board Approved for Nursing Home Administrators. You can only receive credit for 10 hours that are completed via self-study.
No more than 10 hours of self-study are allowed for Nursing Home Administrators. The remaining hours must be live and must be completed in person. You can find all approved courses in the CE Broker Course Search Tool. You can sort by popularity, price, course type, and more to make sure you will receive the proper credit.
If you are a Nursing Home Administrator and a preceptor, you must complete a 2-hour preceptor training course each license period.
You can get up to 20 hours of credit for web-based, video, or audio-transmitted online courses that require you to interact with your instructor.
