CE Broker & The Ohio Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology

CE Broker, the official continuing education (CE) tracking system for the FL Department of Health, has added an additional State Board to its growing list of partners.

The Ohio Board of Speech-Language [SL] Pathology and Audiology has chosen CE Broker as its official continuing education tracking system. Launched on February 1st, 2013, CE Broker now tracks all continuing education activities for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists in Ohio. The Board will then review licensee records in CE Broker to confirm compliance with its continuing education rules.

Ohio S.L. Pathologists and Audiologists can also use CE Broker to monitor their continuing education requirements and demonstrate CE compliance prior to renewing their professional licenses. CE Broker already serves 1,000,000 licensed healthcare professionals in Florida, nurses in the District of Columbia, psychologists in Wyoming, and now S.L. Pathologists and Audiologists in Ohio.  The company provides its services at no-cost to State regulating agencies and funds itself with optional subscription services to the individual licensees and to healthcare employers.

“We believe compliance should be easy.  This means simplifying the impact of regulation with innovative web-based technologies” says CEO, Brian Solano of CE Broker, “Our model has been successful in Florida and I am confident that it will work for Ohio as well.”  CE Broker is currently looking for more state regulating agencies and national Boards who are interested in electronic tracking of continuing education activities.  Visit CEBroker.com to learn more.
